Our Organization
“Lusavor” in Armenian means bright or enlightened, a perfect reflection of our belief: every child has a light within them waiting to shine. Lusavor Kids Foundation was founded to support children with autism and Down syndrome in Armenia.
Our Mission
Lusavor is a growing foundation committed to improving the lives of children with autism and Down syndrome in Armenia. We aim to provide access to therapies, inclusive education, and emotional support to families, especially in rural and underserved communities.
Our Vision
To build a sustainable, community-based network of support that empowers children with autism and Down syndrome in Armenia by training educators, therapists, and parents in modern methods; providing access to sensory tools, therapy resources, and inclusive curriculum; fostering international collaboration through expert-led workshops and mentorship; and raising public awareness to promote dignity, visibility, and inclusion for all.
Why Armenia
Many families in Armenia still lack access to professional therapy, special education, and proper diagnoses for children with autism and Down syndrome. While public understanding of these conditions is gradually improving, stigma and misconceptions remain prevalent. Compounding the challenge is a severe shortage of trained professionals and inclusive programs, particularly outside of Yerevan, leaving many communities underserved.
Who We Are
We are two brothers, Alexander and Nikolas Manich, who founded Lusavor Kids Foundation out of a deep personal connection and a strong commitment to making a difference. Having cousins with special needs, we have seen the daily challenges they face — from limited support to feelings of isolation. During our visits to Armenia, we witnessed how children with Down syndrome and similar developmental conditions often struggle even more due to a lack of resources, awareness, and acceptance. That is why we created Lusavor KidsFoundation — to bring hope, inclusion, and opportunity to children with special needs in Armenia.
